Great Book Series for Christian Families

with young kids is Little Blessings! I just love these books. My kids do too. The illustrations are just adorable, Elena Kucharik is the artist behind the Care Bears, and is amazingly talented. Her character's in the Little Blessing books are done in what looks to my untrained eye to be watercolor.

I love the messages these books share about the love of Christ and how they speak at our children's level of understanding, but they also touch the heart of this 35 year old mommy. In the back of each book is a reference, showing where each line of poetry comes from within the Bible. Did I mention these books are written like a poem? The lines flow together like a love song. These are by far some of my favorite children's books.

I bought my books from Amazon.com last Easter as a gift for the kid's Easter Baskets. There's a complete series of books, to date we only have 4, but I'll probably end up with the entire collection before long. ; )
